Antonio and Michelle wed on July 5, 2024, at the Estate at Florentine Gardens.
Antonio has been a DJ and performed at many of my family events throughout the years. He performed at Michelle’s cousin’s communion at Season’s Catering.

“That is when I became really interested in knowing more about him,” she says. “We connected via social media and the beauty of our relationship was that we started off as friends. After many months of getting to know each other and our commonalities, we decided to take it to the next level.”

“The old traditions and values that came with our big Italian families is what brought us closer to one another. We will take these values along with us on our journey to build a loving future together.”

The Proposal
On December 9, 2022, Antonio proposed at Rockefeller Center in New York City in front of the angels and Christmas tree.

His mom had just passed from cancer two months prior, and this was a location that was very special to him, since he and his mother loved the Christmas holiday season.

“I took Antonio into the city that evening as part of his Christmas gift,” explains Michelle, “but little did I know, he had a gift for me. He ended up surprising me with a proposal, as well as an engagement photo shoot.”

Details of the Day
Their big day exuded elegant opulence with a classy white and gold theme. In lieu of favors, the couple donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Their ceremony took place at Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark. Their reception at Florentine Gardens ended with a gelato and espresso truck by Dolce & Gelato Catering.
Favorite Moment
Their favorite moment was their first look as well as their first impression of the grand ball room when completed.

Advice For Other Couples
“Focus on the experience and remember that it’s about celebrating your love,” says Michelle. “Prioritize what will make the day special for the both of you and enjoy the process.”

Honeymoon
The newlyweds enjoyed a week-long all-inclusive honeymoon at Sandals Grenada with butler service. They ate at a variety of delicious restaurants, enjoyed beverages in their cabana by the pool, danced and played fun games with the pool staff, snorkeled, danced at a silent disco, relaxed on the beach and in their private villa pool.
