Ryan & Kristina
June 24, 2023Their Story
Kristina and Ryan tied the knot on June 24, 2023 at the Stone Terrace by John Henry’s in Hamilton. They met during Memorial Day Weekend 2019.

The Proposal
“Every year, we spend a family vacation with my side of the family in Wildwood,” says Kristina. “We always plan one night where we get dressed up, take family photos and go out to dinner. Ryan had it all planned—my family knew and I had no idea.

“When we were taking our couples photos on August 13, 2021, I accidentally kicked sand on his shoe and when we both bent down to wipe it off, I stood back up and he stayed on his knee. I immediately started flowing tears of joy.”

Choosing the Venue
“When we started planning, we didn’t have any hesitations in knowing the Stone Terrace was our perfect venue,” says Kristina. “The owners are family-friends of Ryan’s, and we knew they would help make our day special and memorable with no stress. The grand staircase and lobby are extremely inviting and we know how incredible the food is in their restaurant.”

Details of the Day
“Our special day was magical, elegant and absolutely beautiful,” says Kristina. “From the time we got engaged, to the wedding day, we spent 21 months planning every stunning detail. We spent a ton of time researching vendors, signage, invitations, the perfect place to dress shop, amongst all of the other details needed for our wedding.”

Flowers included roses and lilies, the bride and mother of the bride’s favorite flowers. The centerpieces featured baby’s breath and an array of candles for an intimate, romantic feel.

The couple chose ” traditional white with black writing for all of our wedding signage to keep the theme of elegance.”

Favorite Moment
“My favorite moment was the first time being introduced as husband and wife,” says Kristina. “Holding Ryan’s hand, sharing knowing smiles that we did it and we get to spend this life as husband and wife was truly unmatched. We could feel the love just radiating off of one another.”

Detail They Couldn’t Live Without
Their first dance song, “Growing Old With You” by Restless Road. “Not many people know, but I didn’t know what our first dance song was going to be,” says the bride.

“I narrowed down seven of my favorite love songs and let Ryan choose the final song. I did not know the song until we actually had our first dance and I’m so, so happy that we did it that way. That detail was absolutely perfect.”

Advice for Other Couples
“Do what feels right for you and your fiance. This day is all about you and should be a reflection of your relationship, as well as the dreams you had for yourself about the details of your day. Don’t let social media change your mind on what you’ve envisioned. Every single wedding looks different, so hone in on that and allow your creativity and dreams to shine through.”
