The Proposal
Chris proposed to Alissa on October 20, 2023. He had been planning this moment for weeks. Alissa had no idea what was coming.

As she had just returned home from a long day at work, Chris had turned their living room into something magical.
When Alissa stepped through the front door, she was immediately struck by the soft glow of candles. With the words “Marry Me” on the mantle, Chris proposed!

Details of the Day
Chris and Alissa became husband and wife on February 7, 2025. They wanted their day to be remembered as elegant, timeless and romantic.

The red roses, symbolizing love and passion, added a perfect touch of elegance to the night. They were a reminder that this night, like their love, was full of warmth and beauty, igniting a spark that would burn brightly for the years to come.

Choosing the Venue
Chris and Alissa chose Nanina’s in the Park because of all it had to offer. But what really sold them was the abundance of food for the entire night.

Cocktail hour was a dream with the room lined with stations from pasta to tastes of Asia. Guests continue to rave about the food they were served during cocktail hour. The night closed with a venetian hour.
Favorite Moment
Chris and Alissa’s favorite moments of the night were dancing with all of their friends and family.

Limelight Entertainment created an experience like no other with CO2 cannons and sparklers that kept everyone entertained all night.

Detail They Couldn’t Live Without
A detail that Chris and Alissa couldn’t live without for their wedding was definitely maximizing the time everyone had on the dance floor.
They used their time wisely scheduling pictures to be taken before the reception and only having one speech (bride’s dad) allowed everyone to enjoy themselves on the dance floor dancing the night away!

Untraditionally, Chris and Alissa did not have a maid of honor or a best man because they felt like their family and friends were equally important to them.
They also did a private and intimate cake cutting to enjoy the moment themselves.

Wedding Day Attire
Alissa’s wedding dress was Kelly Faetanini from FBM Bridal. The groom and groomsmen tuxes were from Dante Zeller. The bridesmaid dresses were from Azazie.

Advice For Other Couples
“For couples going through the planning process now,” says Alissa, “do not stress about the things everyone else does.”
Honeymoon
