Johnette and Lukeman tied the knot on April 14, 2024 at Clarks Landing Yacht Club.
Their love story began online in the fall of 2018 when we matched on Bumble.

“Initially, we didn’t think much of each other and weren’t sure if we would continue seeing one another,” says Johnette.

“However, as fate would have it, we kept in touch and learned more about each other, which brought us closer together. Our love grew as we got to know one another and saw each other’s true selves.”

The Proposal
Lukeman proposed on Christmas Day in 2022, which is Johnette’s favorite holiday.

“The moment was perfect and intimate, just the three of us—Lukeman, our daughter, and me,” says Johnette.

“He handed me a large box, and at the bottom, I found a ring box. When I opened it, I couldn’t help but cry. When I looked up, he was down on one knee.”
